It's $79 per night, plus tax, a $12.95 cc charge and a $39 cleaning charge.

It's to big for us really, but seems to be the smallest thing out there Smile . I really don't know anything about villas etc, this one is Villas of Somerset?

I think that you might have even pointed me in this direction Nic?

I'm sure I had a friend stay at Villas of Somerset (is there anywhere else in Orlando of good quality with Somerset in the title?)

She had always stayed in Disney at Moderates before and she raved about the place. Said she would never stay onsite again.

Kina I think it looks great Applause The development get good write ups, great price too!

I've looked at a map and the only downside that you might have is the roadworks on E192, did you drive down that way in December?

If you stay anywhere east of the I4 on the 192 you'll get the same problem but it's really not that bad and is worse the further down you go. It will be fantastic when it's all finished and never stopped us staying W192 when the roadworks were there Thumbs Up Even with roadworks it'd be much less busier than I-Drive! I'll have another look at the map because I think there might even be a direct road into WDW avoiding the 192 Smile

Jeff, how far down were you? How was traffic in December?

There is no way that I could stay at the QII now, and other decent hotels are $79 and upwards. The fact that this is a gated community really appeals, plus the oodles of space that we'd have.

I really don't know where we drove last month  Shocked Is the 192 by SW?

Not really Smile That was probably I-Drive South. Did you go to Walmart by Medieval Times?

I will say that the area you're looking in has excellent restaurants, our fave Chilis and Ruby Tuesdays are down there, Logan's Roadhouse not far too Drool

Do you have to take your own towels in these sort of places?

It does sound really nice, but what if I get to spoilt Laughing I may never want to holiday in a hotel again Wink

I know that you normally either deal with a management company or the owner themselves. I've been conversing with the owner, is that the best way?

They also offer a refund up to 2 weeks before we travel.

If you wanted to spend a little bit more and have a pool you could try somewhere like http://www.loyaltyusa.com/pages/property_detail.aspx?homeId=41

You won't need towels, although I normally take a few of my own.

Caroon is staying in a condo in one of the best locations - Wyndham (sometimes called Windsor) Palms.  Have a look there.  Also the town houses at Emerald Isle and Venetian Bay are well located.

No, towels, bedding etc will all be there. I usually make sure they're washed as we leave though. sad I know but I love having a washing machine, can't stand having dirty things in a case Laughing Great having a proper kitchen too Thumbs Up

I've dealt with both man co's and owner's, you can usually guage how 'good' they are by the level of info in the emails etc.

I posted a link to Loyalty earlier, they've been by far the base company I've dealt with so far. I know Jeff swears by the company he uses too, might be worth having a look to see what they have to offer Smile

Don't book yet, have a look at what the sites nearer to Disney have to offer!

That looks gorgeous Nic - and my point of persuasion to Matt is that we'd be SAVING money on eating out all the time cos we have a kitchen.

I'd love to have my own pool area aswell - christ I wouldn't want to leave the place!

I'm bad in that I don't really cook in the villa as we like to go out so much Rolling Eyes but the pool is fantastic, I don't usually go near hotel pools but we swim/hot tub nearly every day in the villa. The one I linked to (that site) they're all within 4 miles of Disney, Indian Ridge, Indian Ridge Oaks etc so excellent locations too Thumbs Up

This is the one we've booked:

http://www.windsor-palms-florida.net/2bedcondopages/ellen_andrei_munzer_condo.htm

I can't recommend it yet, obviously!  But it looks nice and is only costing us $500 a week in August which we thought was a great price, especially since the community comes so highly recommended by everyone Smile  It doesn't have its own pool, though.
