We use Dollar:

http://www.dollar.com/

If you're going for 3 weeks it may be worth while to purchase either the Natwest or http://www.Insurance4carhire.com insurance or contact Strategic Claims direct.

Maybe we should meet up soon and devise a plan for California Very Happy

Dollar want $137 for one-way drop Rolling Eyes I'll keep looking!

The insurance might be a good bet, thanks for that Smile  If we had that policy, does that cover everything that wouldn't be covered on a standard rental, do you know?

It seems to offer everything that I can think I'd need, hopefully none of us will never have to use it.

What type of vehicle are you looking for??

Normal car, big enough for 3 people and numerous suitcases! (well, 2 large-ish suitcases anyway).

Probably mid-size or so.  Compact? Economy? I don't really knwo - I need to see a picture!

I don't think she's forgotten you Hug  But when we'd ask what we should do on a Saturday or Sunday, she'd often reply "go to Nic and Steve's" and she hasn't for a while, that's all.

I'll check with her tomorrow that she knows who you are!

Laughing Bless her!

Maybe we should come and visit you, you can test your cases to see if they fit in the general Dodge Compact which is the same car as ours, a Caliber? Wink
