We gave it a miss last time and I'm really keen to see Harry Potter - £72 is a fair price I think and am sure the UK sites will up their prices when they catch on although I can't see the Flex rising significantly?

One of the guys from the QCast podcast is going to be a character at Harry Potter and another is a new judge on American Idol in DHS

I doubt it, he said he "can't be the hip black judge because he's white and can't be the other judge because he's not a drugged up lesbian" so that only leaves the Simon role.

Let me know when you're going back and I'll ask him if he's working. We saw him in the Nemo show last year

2010 - The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - (3/19/10) Universal has announced that their big press release to reveal all the details for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will take place at noon on March 25th. This will also include the big reveal for the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride as well as the grand opening date as well.

Room of Requirement - Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
On Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – the marquee attraction of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – guests will journey through iconic locations straight from the films, such as the Room of Requirement. This amazingly detailed scene is where guests board the groundbreaking ride and are drawn into the excitement and chaos of Harry’s life. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – the only place in the world where the stories of Harry Potter will come to life – grand opens on June 18.

1. The ride system is indeed on a bus rail with a robotic arm attached allowing riders to "fly" in and around scenery. It's not a roller coaster in any way. The seats are supposed to be themed to a park bench but I personally don't think they look very good.

2. Many of the scenic elements are 20 to 30 feet above the floor and they look incredible.

3. The load area utilizes a Magic Carpet moving platform similar to HRRR. The seats will face out with the arm and vehicle base hidden below so that once riders take off it will be a complete surprise as they "fly off".

4. The Dementor effect will be accomplished with a type of fog screen where a video capture of your face will be projected being sucked out toward the creature as your vehicle backs out through the fog screen.

5. The projection domes will rotate synchronized with your vehicle placing you directly in the sweet spot of each dome in the middle of Quidditch. The projectors are similar to the ones used for Simpsons but are the next generation.

6. There is indeed a fire-breathing dragon that you will come face to face with.
