Looking at a short break in July to go and see Barney during one of their family entertainment breaks.

Which place is nicer, Minehead or Bognor?

TIA Very Happy

Can't comment on Bognor as I have never been there. Minehead 14 times so you can guess my answer.
I would never stay in less than Silver accommodation. Are you planning on self-catering or half board? You'd have to pay for 4 in self-catering so it will be worth costing half board and comparing.
We stayed in Gold accomodation this time which was very nice but the apartments are 3 storey which is not ideal for little ones. We were on top floor but was not a problem for us. If you opt for silver half board most of the accomodation is on the ground floor and is fine to stay in. It's not the Ritz but is acceptable.
Food on half board is a bit like a large canteen but the choice is large and varied, something for everyone.
Gold half board is taken in the Yacht Club and is more compact - less people in the dining room but the menu is the same.
The facilities were great, we used the pool twice (me once but Si and the girls went twice) The resort was always clean even early in the mornings.

Anything else just ask.
Have you been before? Go with an open mind and if you go and don't like it I'm sorry but I never say a bad word as it's been a favourite of mine since I was 6!!

I think Minehead is much cleaner than Bognor.  (There were more tatooed ladies in Bognor!!!)

Never been to Bognor but we did Minehed a few years back.
As I've said before we were pleasantly surprised.  We stayed inthe 2/3 storey blocks and they were okay - walls were paper thin as you could hear the guy 3 doors down Fart

Lovely beach area just across the road where the kids can run and burn off some energy.
