Just ordered Tesco vouchers for the Eurotunnel.  Very Happy
Just looking for a hotel - Campanile is looking best bet at the moment, Carron would you say it was better than the premiereclasse? Not that it takes much Laughing

Yes, there was more room, a 'proper' bathroom (rather than the plastic cupboard!), kettle ...

If the premiere classe was cheaper we'd happily stay there, but if you get a bargain on the Campanile then yes, it's definitely nicer.

When are you going?  We're undecided whether to go to Florida, or 'just' DLP as we could go in the first week of the summer holidays before our annual passes run out.

21st July as our passes run out on the 27th.
We break up on Monday 20th July.
There is an offer on at the campanile if you book before March 31st.

We'd be thinking of the same week.  We finish on Friday 17th but we're at a wedding over the weekend so would be off on Monday 20th probably.  If I'm honest I still want to go to Florida really, but it would make sense to save that til next year and make use of our DLP APs!

To save me finding our passes ... I assume they run out the day before we bought them last year? i.e.. we bought our on 27th so I assume they expire on 26th?  Is that right?

I imagine so as you bought yours the day before us?

I've got sponsors for Jess so I will be able to extend hers while we're there as she is going again at the end of August with her Dad.

We've got 2 sponsors on a form for one of us (John I think) - if we can it would be nice to find more sponsors so we can extend both of our adult passes, but we'd still want to go that week as we can't extend Holly's for free.  We'd have to buy her a new one next time we go Wink

As soon as I book the eurotunnel, I'll book the campanile as it's a good price and I'd prefer a bigger room.

Yeah I just had a quick look, I think I'd go for the Campanile too at that price.  The only thing is I think you have to pay for it now and it's non-refundable isn't it?

How much does the Tunnel and driving etc cost you?

Flybe are doing specials to DLP.  You're getting 1 free pass if you book flights, I think.
They fly from Cardiff and Exeter (not sure if that's close to you Carron, but it's cheaper than Gatwick)
They're also doing deals on Hotels.

The tunnel is costing £30 worth of clubcard vouchers. I think we used 2 tanks of diesel from home to DLP and back. €20 each way in tolls.
